The Geographical Distribution of Animals - 2 Volumes

In Two Volumes with maps & illustrations. Both volumes are very gently read; interiors are very clean aside from the odd bit foxing/offset and occasional finger smudge. Vol. 1 has a small vintage bookseller tag to the verso of the front board, bookseller pencil notations to the front fly, previous owners neat name and date in fountain to the ffep and one California Academy of Science stamp to the verso of the title page. Green linen boards of both volumes are lightly bumped and rubbed to extremities. Large, bright gilt illustration stamped to front boards, bright gilt titles to spines. Wonderfully illustrated with plates and maps. Large fold-out map is present in Vol. one. This heavy set will require additional postage.
