418 pp, b/w illustrations, the book and contents are solid and tight, the pages are lightly browned and the first and last several pages have light foxing, there is a bookplateon the front endpaper, the covers have light soiland wear, the front cover is illustrated in black on a gold background with a book spead open and showing world maps, thee right and lower side of front cover and several spots on the rear cover are color faded from dampness, this does not affect the contents, this is a very usable book.
