The field of geoinformatics has shown tremendous growth not only in its technological advancement, but also in its applications arena in the realms of society and environment. About the Author
Dr. Franz-Josef Behr is Professor of spatial information processing at Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences. He has a strong background in computer science, especially geospatial IT and consultancy work regarding GI system introduction. He is co-founder of the AGSE conferences and author of more than 40 international publications.
