All in green pebbled cloth with gilt printing on spine, and gilt facsimile signature on cover, with double, plain embossed border to edges of book. All with chocolate endpapers, and owner bookplate. Former owner has written very precise notes on white front endpapers and half title page, in pencil with page numbers noted. Occasional pencil underlinings in book match notes. Book also has printed side notes referencing specific journals or letters.
