Photograph, 10 x 8 inches. B/W photograph with Rockefeller's arm on Meany's shoulder as Meany, carrying bundle of newspapers, prepares to get into auto. In 1952 Meany became president of the AFL and, in 1955, he merged the AFL with the CIO. Rockefeller in 1952 was working in government under Truman and, then, Eisenhower. Very good copy. On rear of photograph in ink, lower right corner: 'Woods 2000.086.1685'.
