Charles Scribner's Sons. 1913. New York. Hardcover (no dust jacket). Good. There is a name, college, location, and date (1916) written on front endpaper, and another name and date (1941)written on opposite endpaper. Book has wear to outer spine ends and (lesser) wear to front and back corners of the cover. Book has no foxing, no odor, and no internal writing. It is not a former library edition. The pages are clean, with no tears. George Meredith was an English novelist and poet of the Victorian era, nominated for the Nobel Prize in literature seven times. 253 pages. Securely packed in a lidded box.
