Biography of the English painter of rustic scenes, portraits and landscapes. 289pp with index, illustrated with 50 tissue guarded colour reproductions. Top board and spine decorated with green tree design and gilt and black lettering. Top edges tinted. Left hinge slightly slack, some marking to edges and prize certificate dated 1917 to pastedown, otherwise good copy.
