This is a substantial catalogue of Danish design furniture retailed by George Tanier in 1963. George Tanier alongside Frederik Lunning were the main American importers of Danish furniture in the 1950's and early 1960s before the Danish successfully created their own export mechanisms. The catalogue contains the work of the following designers: Carl Axel Acking, Bent Andersen, Hans Bellman, Brockman-Petersen, Nanna and Jorgen Ditzel, Carl Jacobs, Grete Jalk, Finn Juhl, Kai Kristiansen, Uno and Osten Kristiansson, Kai Lyngfeldt-Larsen, Madsen-Schubell, Helge Sibast, Arne Vodder, Hans Wegner, Illum Wikkelsoe, Vilhem Wohlert. This is a comprehensive catalogue and far larger than other catalogues issued by George Tanier from this period. Separate 35 page price list includes silhouettes of the furniture plus prices for different materials i.e. teak and rosewood. Wear and spotting to fold over cover. Some spotting and age toning to page edges inside. Spotting to cover of price list. POSTAGE: UK postage is free. Overseas postage is quoted for parcels up to 2kg (2-3kg for the heavier books).
