Robb Helfrick is an award-winning professional photographer whose images have been published in many prominent books and magazines worldwide. His photographs have been featured in prestigious publications such as National Geographic Traveler, Sierra, Audubon, Town & Country, National Parks, and National Geographic Adventure. During the past two decades, Robb has created an extensive portfolio covering the American South, and he has been featured as the exclusive photographer in eleven high-quality photography books.
His work with Farcountry includes city portraits of Atlanta, Savannah, Charleston, and St. Augustine, as well as coffee table books featuring the states of Georgia and North Carolina.
Robb has earned many awards for his work, including the prestigious Len Foote Memorial Award for Excellence in Conservation Photography, which was awarded to him by the governor of Georgia. His photographic art has been exhibited in many galleries throughout the South, including the Fernbank Museum of Natural History. Over the course of his career, Robb has traveled to forty-three states and sixteen countries in pursuit of his craft.
James Randklev, master landscape photographer, has photographed America for thirty years, primarily with a large-format camera that provides the rich images collected in this volume. His brilliant and sensitive work has made him one of the Sierra Club's most published photographers. His color photographs have appeared in books, periodicals, calendars, and advertising—and they have been exhibited in the International Exhibition of Nature Photography in Evian, France. In 2003, Randklev was selected to be included in a book titled World's Top Landscape Photographers and the Stories Behind Their Greatest Images by Roto Vision Publications, London, England.
