Large hardcover in dust-jacket. 417pp., First edition, first printing thus, reprinted with the cooperation of the Department of Defense and the Historical Division, the Air University of the United States Air Force from the original edition published seven years earlier. Illustrated with photographs, maps, and charts. Dust-jacket protected by reinforced mylar covers that have been pasted to inside of front and rear boards. Not an ex-libris copy, from a private collection. Inside mylar covers, affixed to rear dust-jacket panel, is color artwork depicting the standard German transport aircraft [Junkers Ju 52] used during the war, mounted by previous owner. A very clean, square, unmarked copy. Some show-through from glue used to mount art to rear panel, else a near fine copy in like dust-jacket. Scans sent on request.
