About the Author
Katrina Stevens has been involved with German Shepherds since 1975. Along with breeding German Shepherds, she is an obedience instructor and exhibits her dogs in the breed ring. Having successfully completed the GSD (German Shepherd Dog) League judging course, she also judges the breed. When breeding, her first consideration is temperament and as her dogs are primarily pets, all are included as part of the family. She supports all the breed improvement schemes, and being a qualified nurse, is particularly interested in the health and genetic aspects of the German Shepherd dog.
