Softcover, 304 pp., 27 x 21,5 cm, English/Nederlandstalig. *Als nieuw . ISBN 9789493039476. Kunstenaar Gert Robijns (Sint Truiden, 1972) werkt al tien jaar rond de ?Reset?-idee, waarin het herscheppen en het herwaarderen van het landschap centraal staan. Zo onstaat in 2010 een eerste werk, Het Dorp, dat als het startschot van zijn ?Reset?-praktijk beschouwd kan worden. Robijns maakte toen een kopie van zijn geboortedorp Gotem, op een schaal van 75/100, in wit hout en metaal, inclusief kerk en pastorie. De constructie zette hij neer op de oude militaire luchthaven van Brustem, op een half uurtje fietsen van zijn geboortedorp. De ?Reset?-idee liet hem niet meer los en zet zich tot op vandaag door in zijn werk, met projecten zoals Reset Home (de transformatie van de woning van zijn grootouders in Borgloon tot een huis voor beeldende kunst), Reset Plein Air (een plan voor een kunstwerk dat zich in het Haspengouwse landschap integreert), Reset Charbon (een reflectie op het Limburgse mijnverleden) en, meer recentelijk, Reset Mobile (een soort tent die op verschillende plekken in de wereld kan worden opgezet en als kunstenaarsatelier kan fungeren). Deze nieuwe tweetalige publicatie, samengesteld door Tommy Simoens, met bijdragen van Etienne van den Bergh en Sam Steverlynck, geeft een overzicht van een decennium ruimtelijke kunst op basis van Robijns? ?Reset?-idee. 0 g.…

Books are offered if unsold. The order of incoming orders will be respected strictly.
The books that are offered online are not available at our bookshop at 48 Kloosterstraat.
You will receive an e-mail confirming the availability of the book(s) and providing details with regard to shipment costs (we use Belgian and Dutch postal companies for the most cost-effective shipments.
The indicated shipment costs have been calculated according to the rates for shipments of up to 2 kilo. We will choose the most cost-effective shipment option, depending on the weight: either letter post or parcel post.
Abe-books charge your Payment, we send only the book to your adress.
