In der Forschung ist die Bedeutung der Begegnung zwischen Paul Celan und Martin Heidegger im Sommer 1967 l�ngst konstatiert worden. Sie wurde jedoch lediglich im Bereich programmatischer �u�erungen reflektiert. In Gespr�che von Text zu Text wird durch Quellenstudien und eingehende Textanalysen nachgewiesen, da� dieser Begegnung auf seiten Celans ein um 1953 einsetzender Proze� sowohl der Ann�herung als auch der Entgegensetzung gegen�ber dem Philosophen vorausging. Diese ambivalente Entwicklung wird auch anhand von bisher nicht beachteten Gedichten in ihrer Komplexit�t vorgef�hrt. Im Mittelpunkt steht dabei das Gedicht "Engf�hrung".
