Brian S. Nicholson is the author of Let’s Get After It! Successfully retired at 56 and sober for over 5 years, he is enjoying and exploring his newfound freedom in long-term recovery. He is supported by his wonderful family and friends while thriving in his best life in Woodbury, Minnesota. You can often find him on one of the many lakes boating, out hiking or cheering on his beloved Chicago Bears and Cubs!

In 2026, he became a Minnesota state–certified Peer Recovery Specialist.
