Dave grew up in San Diego. He retired from developing commercial properties country wide. During that time, he was involved in multiple charitable efforts.
He also managed to dirt and mountain bike in many iconic mountain ranges and places around the world.
After retiring, he taught self -help ideas in prisons and halfway houses. The logical places to give books to in bulk where: prisons, waiting rooms in hospitals, Alcoholics Anonymous, post-traumatic stress military, and the like. Each had barriers that made donating books impossible. After much time wasted down blocked doors, God put his current publisher in his path. She had done computer gaming around the world, and had just gotten back from Brazil. Needless to say, she knew how to use the Internet. So, despite having no specific book marketing experience, he hired her. At this writing, she has given away 4 million downloads of Get Life Right and that number grows by 100,000 copies a month. His second book, Beyond Heaven, is due out in early 2024.
In retirement, he has spent most of his time sharing Get Life Right and Beyond Heaven.
