Here to There: How to Get to Your Mission Field, Revised Edition

What happens after you feel God's call to missions? How can you move along the path from initial commitment HERE to actual arrival THERE in missionary service? What convictions, character, competencies, and chemistry do you need to become qualified for long-term ministry in challenging mission fields. More than 8 out of 10 missionary candidates fail to get to the field. Many intend to go; few make it. Do you want to make it? Do you want to be part of the 15% who actually arrive on the mission field? This book is written for you! This book guides the reader (and their sending church) through eight practical steps to get from initial missions commitment to departure for the field. Practical applications and resources are provided for each chapter.
