Item description from seller

The mother of the healthy eating campaign was before it became popular discusses the links between specific conditions/diseases & poor nutrition & offers suggestions for getting well through diet. In 580 pages, with a Foreword by Joseph C. Risser, M.D Orig. published in 1965, this is a slightly later (July 1966) printing of that FIRST EDITION, in 580 pages with Index in rear. Hardcover book has blue cloth-covered boards lettered in black & silver to spine. Condition is Good: rather shabby looking externally, with rubbing, fraying, corner bumping, random spots & stains. But the internal contents are quite clean & completely unmarked save for former owner's name & address inside front cover. Binding strong & straight, hinges secure. NO DJ (missing). A classic! Our photos depict the Exact book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have! Same Day Shipping on all orders received by 2 p.m.Weekdays (Pacific time); later orders, Weekends & holidays ship next business day.…
