About this title

Synopsis

Get The Results You Want provides effective methods for "getting results" in your life. This book offers a systematic explanation of the basic principles of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) as they apply to psychotherapy; it can be used by anyone who wishes to increase his/her options in creating change. Skills such as Anchoring, Reframing, Pacing, and Leading are explained in detail, and sample dialogues between therapist and client demonstrate the application of these skills for problems solving. This book teaches how verbal and nonverbal communicating techniques may be used to overcome present obstacles and to formulate strategies for success in the future. For people in helping professions, and anyone who aim for excellence in communication, Get The Results You Want is a powerful resource for inner-personal change. This text is already being used by many NLP practitioners as the exclusive guidebook in the field.
