Trying To Get There From Here

Trying to Get There from Here is not an inspirational success story.

It is the raw, unfiltered account of a man who lived through homelessness, addiction, jail cells, and generational trauma and barely survived himself.

Rick Ritter does not write from the other side of life with the answers figured out. He writes from the wreckage. From relapse, regret, and the slow work of putting a life back together.

This book is for the person who is tired of pretending they are fine.

For the person who feels disqualified by their past.

For the one who keeps trying to change and keeps coming up short.

This is not a story about instant transformation.

It is about choosing sobriety, responsibility, and faith when walking away would be easier.

Grace is not clean.

Redemption is not pretty.

But they are real.

If you are stuck between who you were and who you are trying to become, this story was written for you.
