Jackson Forestier came up with his own version of 'The Gingerbread Man' in primary school. He made a book about it, and his sister happily illustrated it. He eventually built his own construction business, Blue Print Projects Group, which was impacted by the Covid19 Pandemic in 2020. His grandmother, Josie, showed C. S. Cooper the book he had made as a child. Cooper was inspired to write The Giant Gingerbread Gent based on Jackson's story. The proceeds of every copy of The Giant Gingerbread Gent will go to helping Jackson rebuild his construction company.
