Gilbert the Troll: Gilbert and the Hunters

Gilbert the Troll is a series of books. They all came from Bedtime stories Mark made up for his kids and their friends.
They depict a small boy, who happens to be a troll, a boy full of kindness and a sense of adventure, at one with nature.
Gilbert is an old fashioned adventure story, and depicts a beautiful way to live life.
Gilbert is a mischievous young troll, and finds himself in all sorts of perilous positions. The series begins with Gilbert and the Hunters, and introduces Gilbert and his family and friends to the reader, it tells the story of Gilbert and his family as they run for their lives from the troll hunters.
The second story is Gilbert and the Pirate treasure, when Gilbert and his cousin Michael in Cornwall find a hidden cave network full of pirate treasure, but also traps for the unwary.
In the third book, Gilbert and his family are on holiday in Florida, and Gilbert visiting Kennedy space centre, somehow manages to evade security to see onboard the space shuttle. Only to find the astronauts boarding and end up as a hidden guest in space.

The books are aimed at age 3 to 12, and make wonderful feel good bedtime stories, in the style of Enid Blyton famous five, but with a spiritual twist.
