Offered here is a set of six sheets from Eric Gill's famous Golden Cockerell issue of the "Four Gospels," likely printed by Christopher Skelton from his 1987 edition. 10 printed pages, two blank sides. Including the front page with fulls size woodcut (Gospel of John), five woodcut illustrations, decorated initials. Various pages, all fine condition. The "Four Gospels" is commonly considered one of the greatest Press Books of the late 19th and early 20th Century, alongside the "Dove's Bible," and the "Kelmscott Chaucer.". Seller Inventory # 3118
