The book ranges from a detailed analysis of how to protect public lavatories from the public to an account of how the village of Buckler's Hard, where Nelson's flagship the Agamemnon was built, was transformed back to its 18th century character. It tells you how to make money from tea, souvenirs and wishing fountains as well as how to set up a railway engine and three Pullman coaches in your garden. It combines provocative comment with original information.There is some wear to the edges of the dust jacket and slight bumping to the top and base of the spine. HOwever, the binding is sound, the corners are good and the pages are clean with no additional markings. The book is signed on the blank page before the title page and reads: Beryl Chaffey, Montagu of Beaulieu, June 26th 1967. The book is also numbered on this page; printed "This is number" and then hand-written "108".
