I wrote THE GINGERBREAD HOUSE, to remind us all that what's most important isn't the building we live in, but rather the love that fills it, that Christmas should be less about presents and more about presence, that charity is a blessing for the giver as well as the receiver and, lastly to encourage everyone that no matter how dark or scary life may seem, with faith and prayer amazing and wonderful things can still happen!

Uplifting and joyful, it's easy to see how children can fall in love with the charming and imaginative personalities who come to life in these timeless original stories created by author and illustrator, Christell A Chapin.
