The Girl Behind the Chair: From Rags to Riches to Redemption

"I will kill you if you ever try to leave me again," he said quietly. No shouting. No drama. Just a promise-as if it were already decided. As if he owned the ending.

That was the moment she knew she HAD TO ESCAPE.

She was the girl behind the chair—the one who hid from the chaos behind a faded plaid seat that smelled of old smoke and fear. From a childhood scarred by loss to a marriage marked by control and violence, her life became a battle to endure, to protect, to breathe.

Yet even in the darkness, God was there—pursuing, calling, and redeeming.

The Girl Behind the Chair is a powerful true story of survival and grace, of a woman who stepped out of the shadows and into the light of the One who never let her go.
