About the Author
Anne Hobson Freeman was born in Richmond, Virginia, in 1934, and has spent most of her life there, writing and raising three children with her late husband, George C. Freeman, Jr. She has published essays and short stories in national magazines, as well as two business biographies and a smattering of poetry, but her favorite form is semi-autobiographical fiction which you will see in some of the stories here.
Louise Gilbert Freeman, a North Carolina native and mother of three, lives in Richmond, Virginia, with her husband, George C. Freeman, III. She returned to her childhood love of art when she when she stopped teaching English at Randolph Macon College. She paints portraits, landscapes and still lifes in oil
Beverly Lawson Nelson, mother of two, a serious photographer and retired Clinical Social Worker, moved to Richmond in 1969. Initially, she began creating photo books for family and friends and now also designs books for others.
