Glaive (Paperback or Softback)

From the world of the Forging of a Knight epic fantasy series comes a new adventure centered on the reluctant hero Glaive. When a mysterious object falls into his path, powerful forces converge to claim it: a merchant lord wants it, a smuggling chief is willing to steal it, a wizard guild is fearful of it, and Those That Stand in Shadow will kill all to have it.

Traveling back to the crooked lands of the Woodworm Ports, Glaive thought leaving his friends would make his life easy. No more dragons, no more wars, and no more magic. Instead, he learns it's not easy to escape one's past. What is the object everybody wants, why does everyone want it, and as usual, why does Glaive get stuck in the middle of it all?

Fast-paced and darkly adventurous, Glaive delivers sword-and-sorcery intrigue, dangerous alliances, and a half-orcne thief who learns that wishing for peace can be the most perilous choice of all.
