A history of the use of glass in decorative ornaments throughout the world. Illustrated with nine lithographed plates. Including chapters on The Composition of Glass, Glass in the Roman Empire, and Glass in Italy. Large paper copy, limited to fifty copies. In a quarter-morocco binding. Externally, sound, though rubbed, with some marks. Loss to the head of the spine, and joints are starting. Internally, generally firmly bound although strained in places.
