The Global Financial Crises (GFC) seems to have been more widespread than many other previous crises and this book focuses on how the GFC impacted the outlook of the investment community and several industry sectors in both developed and developing countries. Examining overall trends in various macroeconomic indicators and risk perceptions; foreign investment in emerging markets; and the economy’s response to an emerging postcrisis investment landscape, this analysis also focuses on the growing role of emerging developing economies, such as India, in promoting global, cross-border investment flows.
