Synopsis
Michael Major has written a book, five years in the making, which sheds new and revelatory light on the glory of God, examining scripture and actual experiences of believers today. This book delves deeply into God's ultimate purpose for releasing His glory in these end times. Topics discussed include Glory vs. Anointing, distinguishing the Holy Spirit from the Spirit of Christ, the glory's attraction to death and suffering, Israel’s preeminence in understanding the glory, its role in Christian unity, and the unique phenomenon of destiny acceleration -- God's process of transforming the Bride of Christ for the coming of the LORD. Readers will enjoy a thorough and in-depth study of this increasingly relevant and oft-misunderstood topic -- a must read for Christian leaders with a heart for revival.
About the Author
Michael Major is a retired attorney from Central Florida who, with his wife Sherry, has devoted himself to the pursuit of God's glory. After receiving Holy Spirit baptism at age 15, he and a high school friend experienced God's glory at a Kathryn Kuhlman crusade in 1973. Then, after enduring the abuses of the Shepherding Movement for nearly 20 years, he again encountered the glory at the Brownsville Revival, the Smithton Outpouring and Rock Church of Baltimore. These experiences brought him into contact with Stephen Gray, a missionary to East Africa, with whom he accessed an abiding, enduring deposit of the glory upon his life and ministry. Since 2003, Michael and Sherry Major have hosted "glory meetings" in homes and churches here in the U.S.A. and in Israel. This book is based upon their experiences of this powerful, unique aspect of God's presence.
