30 cm one-sided page has 23 cm colour engraving. Vignette of Gloucester Cathedral. Some foxing and darkening, mainly to edges. Two larger spots at bottom right. No folds. From E. W. Brayley's "The Beauties of England and Wales." Detailed map shows indivdual buildings, allowing for an interesting comparison with your present-day map. Most streets and buildings named. 7 churches identified in a numbered key to one side. Dated in the plate. 3 coats of arms and a distance scale in furlongs and feet.
