Go Fore It!

Go Fore It! A Family and Golf Story is an inspiring and thought-provoking story about passion, purpose, and the power of support. Ideal for middle school classrooms, advisory programs, and school-wide reading initiatives.

When Tyler, a talented but soft-spoken teenager, discovers the game of golf, he finds something he never fully felt on the basketball court—freedom, focus, and joy. As his interest in golf grows, Tyler and his family must navigate expectations, identity, and the realities of a sport that has historically lacked diversity and access.

Told through the lens of a close-knit family, Go Fore It! explores the importance of engaged parenting, faith, mentorship, and community in helping young people discover who they are and what they love. The story thoughtfully addresses barriers to opportunity while highlighting how sports like golf can open doors to education, careers, and lifelong connections.

Perfect for parents, educators, coaches, and youth mentors, this book encourages meaningful conversations about following your passion, embracing new paths, and supporting the next generation as they find their way.

More than a sports story, Go Fore It! is a call to young people, to encourage you to go for it!

Inspiring, educational, and deeply authentic, Go Fore It! challenges parents, educators and coaches to ask an important question: What would happen if we encouraged every child to go for their dreams—no matter where they lead?
