Let Go

A Story to Be Felt, Not Just Read

Short yet deeply affecting, Let Go is a novel about grief and healing, meant to be experienced in a single sitting. It leaves space for your imagination, inviting you to step into Chloe and Alex’s quiet world and feel your way through love, loss, and the search for hope after loss.

Born from Darkness, Written Towards Light

Inspired by a song, this is Lavender C’s debut novel, first written in 2019 during one of her darkest chapters and completed in 2025 as she once again searched for light. What began as a private story of release grew into something more after encouragement from friends and family. She now shares it in the hope that it reaches others who also need to let go.

A Love That Lingers Beyond Death

When Alex died saving a stranger’s child, he didn't cross over. Instead, he woke as a soul—untethered and unseen, still watching the life he left behind. Chloe, his fiancée, was left broken and adrift, haunted not only by his loss but by wounds she never allowed to heal.

Returning to her childhood home in rural France, Chloe tries to outwalk grief and finally lay the past to rest. But healing isn't simple. Alex can't reach her. Chloe can't escape what still hurts. And somewhere between the living and the beyond, both must learn what it truly means to let go.

Let Go is a tender, heart-wrenching afterlife love story—a meditation on love beyond death, grief that transforms, and the quiet courage it takes to begin again. Perfect for readers who enjoy emotional literary fiction and bittersweet love stories that linger long after the final page.
