More than a century ago, a lovely young Georgia aristocrat named Jane Carroll Heard came to the Indian Territory. She was the bride of Fred Severs Clinton, a handsome blue-eyed blond who was part Creek Indian, from the village of Red Fork on the Arkansas River. Their union was not only a lifetime affair of the heart, but an alliance of remarkable talents and abilities which would play a major role in transforming the little frontier village of Tulsey Town, I.T., into a booming mid-American city known as "The Oil Capital of the World." Cecile Davis Richards is a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, the setting of Wherever You Go. A University of Oklahoma graduate, she was a reporter for the Atlanta Constitution, the Tulsa Tribune and Radio Station KTUL. She has four children, and seven grandchildren for whom this book was written.
