Illustrated throughout in black and white by the author. No dust jacket. Condition: Good+. Cloth lightly rubbed with a few small marks to boards; corners softened with minor wear; spine ends just pushed. Slight lean to the spine. Text block edges toned with a little dust soiling. Map endpapers with scattered foxing and a small pencil note to the front pastedown. Ink ownership name in blue on a preliminary blank. Pages otherwise clean; binding sound and square. ---. Sixth impression, December 1938; the imprint reads: First published November 1937, Second impression November 1937, Third impression November 1937, Fourth impression November 1937, Fifth impression December 1937, Sixth impression December 1938. Seventh novel in the Swallows and Amazons series, taking the Walker children out of the Orwell and Stour and across the North Sea to Holland aboard the Goblin.
