God Is (Hardback or Cased Book)

God Is, is a journey through time, history, and science exploring the facts that suggest what our relationship with God and each other is and ought to be as opposed to what demanders, doubters, and deniers insist on it being. Alan Greer bridges the divide between science and religion, the evolution of man and God's plan. He lays out a thorough argument to prove the existence of God within the constructs of modern science and the history of the universe, beginning with the Big Bang. Are we a "chance accident or were we put in just the right place intentionally?" Is humanity "just the luck of the draw, or was something picking and choosing these outcomes?" Questions like these are asked and answered leading the reader through the argument that God Is.

Praise for God Is

God Is, is a must read. Alan Greer takes us on a flowing historical journey from the Big Bang theory to the present. His scientific, military and legal backgrounds allow him to explain how the force of God is behind and the reason for, all that happens. He then warns us of what can happen if we don't remain the free willed students of God, who has taught us to share the attributes of love, patience, empathy, fidelity, caring, moral courage, trust, and the willingness to make the right, but difficult decisions. This is a call to all of us. BRAVO!

In God Is, Alan Greer makes the case -- sweeping and impassioned, yet at the same time thorough and lawyerly -- for the existence of a benevolent God. As a longtime atheist, I was challenged by his arguments and intrigued by his conclusions, which carry profound implications for the future of humanity.

The author, deeper than I, has an eloquent touch for explaining what others might say cannot be explained. Alan Greer's God Is, is education at its best: Why none of us will find ourselves bored eternally in Heaven, a takedown of the Noah story, why we humans need to be challenged all our lives, God The Choreographer, God The Ballet Master, God The Loving Gardener, the imperatives of trust and patience. This book is a blessing in the pursuit of the greatest meanings of life -- and death.

- David Lawrence Jr., chair of The Children's Movement of Florida and the retired publisher of the Miami Herald

To ponder a God active in history and science one has to demonstrate a knowledge of history and science, and that Alan does in a succinct and systematic fashion. He then ventures into the ethereal realms of free will, soul and afterlife, and lovingly shares a personal theology that encourages a partnership with the Divine. In doing so, he encourages each of us to wrestle with God ourselves.
