God Knows: It's Not About Us

God Knows, an odyssey, charting the erratic adventures of OH as he probes the mysteries of being here, will challenge, embarrass, entertain and puzzle you. OH plunges full-bodied into lifeâ s ripe compost. He explores the swamps from which we emerged, delighting in the nitrogen-decay that feeds our future, and to which we one day return. In the end he arrives at the miraculous conviction that, however that end works out, being here was enough.

Blayney Colmore, born in 1940, woke wide-eyed , like Rip Van Winkle, at the dawn of the new millennium. After thirty years as a parish priest, his thirst for an encounter with the ineffable was unquenched. He set out, in writing, in conversation, in wondering and meditating, to spend his remaining years exploring. He is married to Lacey Jennings, a renowned interior designer whose grounding in reality has freed him to go places he would never have dared on his own. They divide the year between Vermont and California, and have five grown children. His first book was In The Zone.
