God Is Pro-Life: Applying Scripture to Abortion, Assisted Suicide, Euthanasia and Other Threats to Life

Defending Scripture’s Case for Life—with Clarity, Compassion, and Courage

The Parking Lot Question

“Where does the Bible condemn abortion?” The man asked it bluntly in a grocery store parking lot, pointing to the “God Is Pro Life” frame on Francis W. Szarejko’s car. “I’m a Christian,” he added, “and I can’t find the word abortion in the Bible.”

That honest, unsettling question is exactly why this book exists—to equip believers with a clear, confident, and biblically faithful answer.

A Biblical Case for Life

From Genesis to Revelation, Scripture reveals God as the Author and Giver of life and teaches the dignity of every human person made in His image. God Is Pro-Life demonstrates how the Bible establishes a culture of life, from conception to natural death, and how Christians can speak the truth in love, based on the simple moral principle that intentionally killing an innocent human being is wrong.

Inside, Francis W. Szarejko equips believers to engage with care and confidence:

• Defend the unborn: See how Scripture affirms personhood from the womb (e.g., Psalm 139; Luke 1—and more) and how “You shall not murder” applies to the most vulnerable
• Engage today’s challenges wisely: Understand abortion’s impact and the pressures that normalize infanticide, physician assisted suicide, and euthanasia
• Apply Christian bioethics to end of life issues with courage and care
• Navigate hard cases with compassion: Consider biblical, life affirming responses to rape, incest, and infertility—and how to think Christianly about technologies like IVF and surrogacy
• Live faithfully in the public square: Learn how to evaluate laws (including the FACE Act) and how to act justly and love mercy
• Learn about government threats to pro-life activists through real-life case studies like Mark Houck’s
• Be ready to act: Each chapter includes Scripture engagement, practical application, heartfelt prayer, and specific steps to be a light for life
