God has a purpose for your struggles!

Have you found yourself asking God, "Why am I going through this? What is the point of all of this?! Is there something I am to learn from this craziness?"

Struggle is a part of life--most often a very frustrating part of life. Struggle is a part of your development as a mature human being, and moreover, a critical part of your development as a Christian. Your struggle can take on many forms.

Conflict with a family member, much like Jacob and Esau.
Facing the dire consequences of a personal decision, like Jonah.
Standing alone against a mob, like Elisha.
Speaking to power for the sake of others as Esther did.
Facing a giant in life as David did.

“God, I’m Struggling” is about struggle—but it is not about the struggle to believe in God, or the struggle to accept Jesus as your savior. This book is about deepening your understanding of the PURPOSE OF YOUR STUGGLE and lessons to be learned from your struggle. Through a survey of 15 biblical characters and their experience with challenges, you will

• Reflect upon a full range of life struggles experienced in scripture.
• Understand more deeply the nature of God revealed in the struggles of the selected characters.
• Apply that understanding to your own experiences.
• Clarify who you are internally as you face your challenges.
• Recognize the impact of how others are impacted by observing you meet and master challenges.
• Apply lessons learned from the study of the characters to your personal struggles.
• Equip you to help others in their struggles in life.
• Recognize that you are an overcomer.

When we recognize God's fingerprints in the details of our life, we become better equipped to face and overcome life’s challenges. As we overcome, we learn the lessons that God intended us to learn. It is only then that we can truly begin to live with impact.
