God Unplugged: Experiencing Christ in Everyday Life

God Unplugged is a collection of inspirational writings that approach God and the Christian life from a practical perspective as well as theologically. It merges the truths of the Bible with everyday experiences allowing the reader to relate to and grasp the message being conveyed in a matter of fact way. God Unplugged is not one dimensional, it is well rounded, hence the unplugged concept. God Unplugged deals with life behind the scenes, what goes on when the camera is not rolling, what happens when you are "off stage". God Unplugged gives you the nitty gritty reality. Far too often an unrealistic picture is painted of God and the Christian experience. God Unplugged gives you a balanced view of both.

Aaron is a native of Philadelphia who discovered his passion and gift for writing in an odd way. He met a fellow Christian, Kevin Garland, who at the time wrote and posted a daily spiritual devotional on his personal website. Aaron was impressed by Kevin's commitment and diligence. Aaron then took it upon himself to write his first devotional, emailed it to Kevin, and he posted it on his website. From that day he began writing a daily message and emailing it to friends and family. For close to one year he would rise early in the morning and write an inspirational message and email it to a list of people that grew to over 300 direct email subscribers not to mention those to whom it was forwarded. Many began to inquire if he were writing a book; you now hold his answer in your hands. Aaron loves Jesus and he loves to study his word to unearth nuggets of truth to share with his readers. He truly is a teacher at heart and he seeks to bring old truth with a new flavor. There is no question when it comes to his faith and trust in God. Aaron is a committed husband to Teresa, to whom he has been happily married for 20 years, and and father their three sons: Aaron, Jr., Devon, and Malik. Aaron is a dynamic preacher and teacher of the Bible and an all around down to earth brother. He is a true shepherd of the hearts and souls of those who are exposed to his unique style of ministry.
