About the Author

RONALD A. BEERS has been with Tyndale House Publishers since 1987, serving as Bible editor, editorial director, vice president, and currently senior vice president and group publisher. In his present position, he has been responsible for developing and publishing many of Tyndale's Bibles and books. Since 1988, Ron has been a member of the central Bible translation committee for the New Living Translation, working as executive director and one of the stylists. Ron was also the creator and general editor of The Life Application Bible (the best-selling study Bible in the world for the past ten years). In addition, he developed the TouchPoints series of books, which have sold more than 2.5 million copies since 1996.
