God's Favorite Word!

This book is a collection of devotional messages by Rev. Kermit J. Rye that were originally published in the Argus Leader, the regional newspaper based in Sioux Falls, SD. Appearing in the Feature section under the column “From the Pulpit,” Pastor Rye wrote occasional articles in the newspaper from 2000 to 2020. Praise for “From the Pulpit”:“My long overdue thank you’ for your occasional ‘From the Pulpit’ articles in the Argus. I believe hundreds along with me find food for the soul in your messages.” -- Curt Nielsen. “I wanted to tell you what a thought provoking and timely message you wrote for the Argus concerning repentance as a change of direction.”-- Jill Hansen Groth “Recently you wrote a tremendous column on Jesus' death on the cross and how it proves his love for all sinners. You said, ‘In one moment a man not fit to live on earth with other human beings was in the next moment fit to live in heaven with God.’ Thank you for writing that.”-- Jon Walker
