God's Hand In My "ONE" is the true story of Gigi Williams, who was born without her left hand. How does a three-year-old perceive her difference? How about that same girl at age twelve and into adulthood? With gut-wrenching honesty, Gigi shares her angst in longing to be like everyone else, but could not. She reveals now what she was unable to express as a child. She knew her family loved her but sometimes faced a world that was cruel and rejecting. Finally realizing that her disability was not an oversight by God, Gigi experienced joy and freedom, knowing that in every situation God works for the good of those who love Him. Whether you are a person with a disability or know someone who is hurting, take courage! This is a hope-filled book that will warm your heart and maybe change the way you see others. Be prepared to laugh and cry as you immerse yourself in the unexpected adventures of her life.
About the Author: Gigi Williams is a resident of the beautiful state of Maryland. She is an occupational therapist and graduate of The Ohio State University and spent most of her career working with children who have disabilities. Nestled in her little home, she is surrounded by alfalfa fields and lovely neighbors. She enjoys the symphony of crickets, cows and chickens nearby, which blend nicely with Gigi's singing and keyboard-playing which may be heard at any time day or night. Her favorite visitors are her beloved grandchildren, Makenzie and Jagger.
