This is a 3 volume set. Part 1, text and notes, Part 2, Part 3, vocabulary. Part 1 has the previous owner's name written at the top of the fep and there are notations in pencil. There are light spots (discolorations) along the spine. Part 2 also has notations in ink. There are areas of discolorationa along the spine and edges. The foredge has a few spots. Volume 3 Part 3 appears untouched on the inside. The spine has 2 small spots. All .3 volumes have bumping and light wear at the spine ends. The books are good and a great read.
