A new American translation of "Faust" [Part One] by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. Text in English on the right and in German on the left. Illustrated with B&W art reproductions [woodcuts]. Pages [436] clean, mostly unmarked [a few pages with checkmarks at top of the pages in German, mostly pencilled. Red cloth boards, mostly clean [small areas with discoloration], gray cloth spine, title in gilt on red panel, sunned. All books are in my smoke free & climate controlled shop and will have qualities and/or flaws described. Domestic & international shipping includes tracking information.

My main business is the operation of a custom frame shop and art gallery (specializing in original art and antique prints). Since writing, illustrating, the design and manufacture of books are art forms, I have included books in my gallery. Most are vintage, antique, or just previously read, and include first editions as well as signed editions. Over half of my inventory is non-fiction. I enjoy my framing business but I LOVE my book business!
