I Am Going, Second Edition (Paperback)

Paperback. Are You Going? The lives of many believers rarely escape the tight orbits that circle around their own schedules and interests. But the trajectory of our faith should be one that's continually cycling outward, fueled by a mission and message that God first brought within reach of us . . . so that we can now join with Him in taking it within reach of others. Dr. Daniel Akin is calling today's church members to a lifestyle of going with the gospel of Jesus Christ--whether going around the world or to people right where they live. With decades of seminary experience as a professor and president, Akin has trained thousands of men and women in both the mandates and methods of fulfilling the Great Commission's call to take the gospel to every nation. Now he passes along his wisdom in a resource that can be used by individuals and churches far and wide. Readers will be inspired to: - Learn the mission of God - Understand the centrality of the church in God's worldwide mission - Go to the nations with the gospel of Jesus Christ - Go to their own neighborhoods with the good news of Jesus - Go to their own workplaces with gospel intentionality - Commit to go anywhere on mission with God Dr. Daniel Akin calls Christians everywhere to a "going" lifestyle as they fulfil the Great Commission, taking the gospel of Jesus Christ to people across the street and across the world.
