They get away with it, but OOHara has borrowed a tiny gold cricket bat belonging to Trevor, the captain of the cricket team, and after the escapade he discovers that the trinket is missing. Schoolboy honour is at stake, as Trevor and friends pull out all the stops trying to retrieve the gold bat. The novel has 277 pages. Additional remarks: First edition 5 plates (3 missing).
