Gold Dust, Gold Lust

Reminiscent of Treasure of the Sierra Madre, In *Gold Dust, Gold Lust* by Raul Hanson, set in the rugged Alaskan wilderness of 1925, three desperate men-Fred Houston, Curtin, and old prospector Howard-embark on a perilous quest for a legendary gold cache hidden by Howard decades earlier. Driven by greed and haunted by past betrayals, their journey through blizzards, treacherous rivers, and wolf-infested forests tests their fragile alliance. As a vengeful rival, Blake, stalks their trail, the lure of gold unravels their trust, leading to violence and sacrifice. A tale of ambition, survival, and the haunting curse of wealth, the story explores whether the true treasure lies in the gold-or in the strength to leave it behind.
