Synopsis
Once again our intrepid heroes, Michael Charles and Buruse ‘Bobby’ Bakka are in harm’s way as they resolve to rescue Bobby’s cousin Ishmael and his family. But this time it won’t be a cakewalk as the Iranian officials are lying in wait. Even with the aid of the ingenious Dr. Bern, multi-billionaire banker from Switzerland and his security team headed by the resourceful Coronel Reeder, our heroes find themselves in dire straits. If the Iranian officials weren’t enough, there is the deadly I.S.I.A. hot on their trail. Bobby has committed his group to the rescue of not only Ishmael and his family, but the liberation of billions of dollars worth of gold-backed bonds and precious gems, Ishmael’s legacy from his uncle, the former Shah of Iran. Equally committed is Commandant Azaria of the Iran National Police who allowed Bobby and Michael to escape one time and whose life may depend on preventing a recurrence. It’s an action-packed, suspense-filled thrilling race to the finish, and the devil takes the hindmost.
About the Author
Born in 1946, second in a family of six children, in the then sleepy Southern town of Washington, D.C., where secretaries wore white gloves and hats when going to lunch. This, just before the migration of workers from the south expanded government offices. Michael's father's business would take him as a helper into many government buildings, agencies and international Embassy's where, as a curious adolescent, he would glean all he could from the desks of Ed Murrow, U.S.I.A. Radio Free Europe propaganda, many embassy's and the private homes of George Will, Walter Lipmann, Ray Chalk and others. This early exposure to the workings of government led him to Liberal Arts and the study of Political Science at Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland and on to a Pre-Law curriculum. Psychology and religious studies became hobbies with copious reading in both disciplines. Descendent from the Rommal's on his mother's side-Irwin, the Desert Fox, and Bishop Oliver, now Saint, on his father's side, there were conflicted spirits in his closet. Ever the adventurous one whether flying planes or riding super motorcycles at excessive speeds, he had to have the hair on fire and ride in the wind to feel at home. In his books he incorporates his adventures and knowledge of people through thousands of intimate interviews in his business career where he had become a National sales director and executive vice-president of a prominent marketing company with tens of millions of dollars in sales productions each year. This is where he met the Shah's nephew and many other unique characters.
