Dark red cloth boards with attractive tipped in illustration on front cover and gilt lettering.to spine.Edges are bumped and there is slight staining to front board. Spine is faded and marked. Gilt page edges. Pages are age tanned with scattered foxing. Hinges are cracking. Inscribed and dated 1913 in pencil on fep (book is otherwise undated). Stories by Voltaire, Dumas, Lermontov, George Sand amongst others. 8 colour plates by Frank Papé and 110 drawings by H R Millar. Seller Inventory # 4031
